How to Get Involved
We are seeking motivated members of the NU research community who are interested in becoming involved with NURAP to join our steering committee or to join a subcommittee as an ad hoc member. Also, you are welcome to submit articles to the Communications and Outreach team for publication in the quarterly newsletter, the RAP UP.
The steering committee is NURAP’s decision making body. It meets every quarter with meeting locations alternating between the Evanston and Chicago campuses. Ad hoc members assist a subcommittee with its mission and projects, and they are not required to be a part of the steering committee meetings.
Prospective Steering Committee members are asked to obtain permission from their supervisors to participate in committee meetings and to assist with other NURAP events.
Selection: New members will be selected by the current steering committee. We wish to maintain a panel having optimized diversity of experience, departmental affiliations, and roles in research administration. If you have questions about the subcommittees, you’re welcome to ask any of the subcommittee leaders. Please see About Us
